Our Australian walnuts are grown in Tasmania. Walnut kernels are the edible kernel of the fruit from trees in the Juglandaceae family. The walnut kernel consists of two uneven, corrugated lobes, white in colour and covered by a paper thin, light brown skin. They are not heat treated.
