Product Description:
Alsa Yogurt Starter 8g x 4 sachets is a freeze-dried blend of lactic cultures (Streptococcus thermophilus, Lactobacillus bulgaricus, or equivalent) used for fermenting milk into smooth, creamy yogurt.
Ingredients:
Maltodextrin, sugar, lactic cultures (10–30%).
Directions for Use:
Pour 1 liter of whole UHT milk (at room temperature) into a container.
Add one sachet of the starter and stir well until fully dissolved.
Pour the mixture into small jars, keep lids open, and incubate in a yogurt maker until thickened.
Storage Instructions:
Store in a cool, dry place away from sunlight and humidity.
Once opened, seal tightly or keep in an airtight container.
For best results, store in the refrigerator to maintain culture activity.
Avoid heat sources or strong odors, as they may affect the starter’s quality.
Note:
This is a dry powder starter. Exposure to air or moisture may reduce its fermentation effectiveness and impact the yogurt’s texture and flavor.
