Made from the Benifuki tea cultivar grown in the renowned Shizuoka tea region (Japan), Organic Premium Black Tea features a rich reddish-brown liquor, an aromatic bouquet with hints of citrus and floral notes, a smooth mild astringency, and a deep lingering umami aftertaste. With an annual production limited to just 200kg, this tea proudly received the Gold Award at the Shizuoka Tea Awards.

Directions for Use:

Hot brewing:

• Preparation:

  • Teapot

  • Teacup

  • 6g Organic Premium Black Tea

• Brewing steps:

  1. Boil water to 100°C, then cool down to around 90°C.

  2. Add 6g of tea to the teapot and pour in 450ml of 90°C hot water.

  3. Steep for 2–3 minutes.

  4. Pour tea evenly into cups alternately from left to right (twice), swirl the teapot gently 1–2 times, and pour out every last drop.

• Notes:

  • For the second infusion, use only half the water of the first brew.

  • Lightly tap the teapot and keep the lid slightly open to prevent tea leaves from breaking.

Cold brewing:

• Preparation:

  • 1 glass or plastic bottle

  • 1L of boiled and cooled water

  • 10–15g tea

• Brewing method:

  1. Place tea into the bottle.

  2. Pour in 1L of cooled boiled water.

  3. Close the lid and refrigerate for 7–8 hours before serving.
