McKenzie's Cream of Tartar helps stabilise and give more volume to beaten egg whites (1/8 tsp of Cream of Tartar per 30g egg white). An essential ingredient when making meringues and pavlovas. Ideal for making non-toxic Play Dough; 2 cups plain flour, 4tbs McKenzie's Cream of Tartar, 2 tbs cooking oil, 1 cup salt, food colouring & 2 cups water. Mix the ingredients in a saucepan, stir over medium heat for 3 - 5 minutes or until the mixture congeals.
