Product Description:
Briochin Baker Yeast – a dehydrated yeast combined with emulsifier E491, ideal for making bread, pastries, and pizza. It helps the dough rise up to twice as fast as with regular yeast.
Ingredients:
Dry baker’s yeast (>90%), emulsifier: INS 491.
Directions for Use:
Preparation:
Step 1: Mix 500 g of flour with 2 sachets of yeast.
Step 2: Make a well in the center and add 300 ml of warm water and 1 teaspoon of salt (8 g).
Step 3: Knead until you obtain a smooth dough.
Step 4: Let the dough rest for 30 minutes at room temperature, covered with a cloth.
Step 5: On a floured surface, shape the dough into a round loaf.
Step 6: Place the dough on a baking tray lined with parchment paper, cover with a cloth, and let it rise for 40 minutes at room temperature.
Step 7: Preheat the oven to 210°C.
Step 8: Sprinkle a little flour on top of the loaf and score it with a knife.
Step 9: Bake for about 35 minutes with a small cup of water placed at the bottom of the oven, until the crust turns golden brown.
Once opened, keep refrigerated and consume within 48 hours.
Storage Instructions:
Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and humidity.
Ideally, keep at room temperature below 25°C. After opening, if not used entirely, fold the package tightly, place it in an airtight container or zip bag, and store in the refrigerator. Use as soon as possible. Keep away from heat sources (stove, oven).
